Jharkhand Teacher (JTET) Qualification Eligibility

Level I (Primary Teacher – Class 1 to 5)

  • Passed Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 02 Year Diploma in Elementary. or After Training Attended 09.12.2007. OR
  • Passed Higher Secondary with Minimum 45% marks and 02 Year Diploma in Elementary (by National Council for Teacher Education). or After Training Attended 09.12.2007. OR
  • Passed Higher  Secondary With 50% Marks And 04 Year Bachelor of (B.El.Ed) OR
  • Passed Senior Secondary With at 50% Marks and 02 Year Diploma. OR
  • Passed Graduation and 02 Year Diploma (by whatever name known).

Level II (Upper Primary Teacher – Class 6 to 8)

  • Passed Graduation and 02 Year Diploma (by whatever name known). OR
  • Passed Graduation or Post Graduation With 50%  marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Training Course after 29.07.2011. OR
  • Graduation with Minimum 45% marks and (B.Ed) or Training Course after 29.07.2011.
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 04 year (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary with 50%  marks and 04 year BA/BS/C.Ed or BA.Ed./BSc, Ed.
  • Graduation with Minimum 45% marks and B.Ed. OR
  • Post Graduate with 55% marks or 03 year Integrated B.Ed. /M.Ed.
  • Admission to upper primary (Class 6-8) School in the state, a minimum graduation in Mathematics, and Science, Social Science, and Language will be required in the subject.
